Bhubaneswar: The three-day-long Devotional Music Festival ‘Guhari 2024’ organized by Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra Odissi Research Center in association with Department of Odia Language, Literature and Culture at Rabindra Mandap, Bhubaneswar, concluded on Friday.
Concluding evening had renowned vocalists like Gita Pattnaik, visually challenged artist from Sambalpur Swagat Mohapatra, Amrita Nayak, Susanta Kumar Pani from Rourkela, Gitamanjari Behera, Tanmaya Kumar Hota, Bharati Jena, Arpita Choudhury and Gaganbihari Swain from Rayagada, creating a devotional atmosphere in the auditorium before the audience. The devotional songs rendered by them were Dukha Nasana Garudasana, Sabuthiru Banchita Kari, Dinabandhu Ehi Ali Srichhamure, Thakamana Chala Jiba, Jai Jagabandhu He Jadumani, Rase Harimiha Bihita Bilasam, Jagabandhu Pari Jane Samanta, Tumapari Mote Katha Karidiya, Mana Uddharana, Kaha Kaha Prabhu Keun Pari Tume, etc. They were accompanied by Bibhuprasad Nanda on tabla, Manish Raj Nanda on drum, Shyam Rao on flute, Anil Das on octopad, Paramananda Sahoo on keyboard and Bibekananda Rout on harmonium.
In the concluding evening lighting of the lamp was done by esteemed guests, Prof. Prasan Kumar Swain, Vice Chancellor, Utkal University of Culture; Dr. Basanta Panda, Project Director, Odia Education Research Center; Shri Prabodh Rath, Secretary, Odisha Sangita Natak Akademi; Guru Sikata Das, Chief Executive, Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra Odissi Research Center and Anuja Tarini Mishra, Administrative Officer, Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra Odissi Research Center. The program was anchored by Biswajit Baliarsingh.
