Bhubaneswar: As the festive spirit of Holi fills the air, Odisha’s leading entertainment channel Zee Sarthak is gearing up to tug at viewers’ heartstrings with its brand-new mega serial ‘Kichhi Sata Kichhi Michha’ (Some Truth, Some Lies).
The show is all set to hit the small screen on March 2 and will air Monday through Saturday at 8 PM.
Set in a quiet coastal village in Kendrapara, the serial dives deep into the lives of two sisters bound by deep love yet divided by destiny. The story revolves around calm and principled Chhabi and bold, headstrong Chaaya, whose unbreakable bond is shaken after the tragic death of their father. His demise follows a deceitful land deal involving the influential Mangaraj family, setting the stage for conflict, justice, and revenge.
While Chhabi is simple, trusting, and guided by moral values, Chaaya is fearless and determined, willing to cross any boundary in her pursuit of justice.
The narrative takes a dramatic turn when Chhabi gradually falls in love with Alok, the son of the Mangaraj family. At the same time, Chaaya remains consumed by thoughts of revenge.
Will Chaaya succeed in avenging her father’s death? How far will she go? Will the truth ever come to light? And what fate awaits the sisters’ relationship? These compelling questions form the crux of ‘Kichhi Sata Kichhi Michha’, promising viewers an intense blend of love, betrayal, morality, and emotional drama.
The serial features Arya Pradhan as Alok, Archita Raut as Chhabi, and Aditi Das as Chaaya in lead roles.
Rahul Rao, Chief Channel Officer of Zee Sarthak, said the show, like the channel’s other mega serials, beautifully portrays Odisha’s traditions, rural life, and moral values. He added that the narrative highlights how the line between truth and lies is often very thin, making the story both relatable and thought-provoking.
With a gripping storyline and powerhouse performances, ‘Kichhi Sata Kichhi Michha’ aims to strike an emotional chord with audiences across the state from the very first episode.
