Bhubaneswar: The Swapna Pati Foundation pulled out all the stops for the 15th edition of its flagship celebration ‘Herbal Holi’ at Sandy’s Tower hotel in Bhubaneswar on Monday, turning Bhubaneswar into a riot of colors and charisma.

With television sensation Urfi Javed and ‘Dhurandhar’ fame singer Shahzad Ali in attendance, the event had fans buzzing and cameras flashing from the word go.

Marking a proud milestone, the foundation celebrated 15 years of championing its ‘Herbal Holi’ campaign, backed by Lavinswood International Private Limited. Since 2011, the initiative has been beating the drum for eco-friendly festivities, urging people to ditch harsh chemical colors and embrace nature’s palette instead — all under the banner of “Protect your skin from chemical colors.”

The festivities kicked off at 4 pm and went full throttle till 10 pm. Staying true to its ethos, the celebration was awash only in natural hues crafted from turmeric, sandalwood, multani mitti, neem, and beetroot — proving once again that Holi can be easy on the skin and big on fun.

The star-studded lineup kept the energy sky-high. Bollywood crooners Shahzad Ali and Shabab Sabri brought the house down, while actor Ajaz Khan added extra sparkle to the evening.

The cultural flavor was further enriched by Ollywood favorites Subhashis Sharma, Suryamayee Mohapatra, Priyanka, and Rishi Pattnaik, along with Odissi dancer Guru Gourishankar Dash.

DJ Ayush turned up the heat with foot-tapping beats, and before long, the dance floor was packed and pulsing.

As performers lit up the stage, over 2,000 guests — including prominent political leaders and business persons— soaked in the festive spirit below, smearing each other with herbal colors and dancing like nobody was watching. It was a full-blown celebration where glamour met green in the most colorful way possible.

For the organizers, Herbal Holi is not just another date on the calendar. It’s a movement in full swing — blending health, heritage, and environmental responsibility into one bright, beautiful bash.
