Bhubaneswar: If you are a lover of horror flicks, you are in for a spine-tingling treat this Ganesh Puja as Amiya Patnaik Production gears up to bring its latest offering, ‘Dahaan’, to theatres on September 11.
Carrying the tagline ‘The Evil Within’, the film promises to send chills down viewers’ spines with a full-blown horror experience.
The makers recently unveiled a special teaser of the film on social media, creating massive buzz among cinephiles. Packed with eerie visuals and hair-raising moments, the teaser offers a sneak peek into the film’s haunting world.
Since its release on August 1, it has already generated significant buzz, clicking around 83000 views and 4000 likes, reflecting the growing curiosity among audiences.
Amiya Patnaik Production has already carved a niche for itself with acclaimed films and web series such as ‘Pratiksha’, ‘Gangs of Puri’, ‘Gangs of Puri 2’, ‘Trikanya’, ‘Karma’ and ‘Mantramuugdha’.
Their previous horror-comedy venture, ‘Mantramuugdha’, reportedly raked in over Rs 5 crore, prompting the banner to up the ante with ‘Dahaan’—this time, a no-holds-barred horror film designed to keep audiences on the edge of their seats.
While National award-winning director Anupam Patnaik has donned multiple hats as the story writer, screenplay writer and director of the film, he has also produced the project alongside Barsha Patnaik.
The film features Barsha Patnaik, Aurosikha Mishra, Samrat Mohapatra, Partha Sarathi Ray, Nishant Majhithia, Choudhury Jayprakash Das, Pranab Prasanna Rath in major roles.
Pranab Prasanna Rath has written the dialogues, Deepak Kumar has handled the cinematography, Rashmi Ranjan Dash has taken charge of editing. And, Ashis Pradhan has composed the music.
With its spooky premise, unnerving visuals and a talented team behind it, ‘Dahaan’ is all set to give horror enthusiasts a run for their money when it hits the silver screen this Ganesh Puja.
