Bhubaneswar: Social worker, actor and chairman of Kar Foundation, Chandan Kar celebrated his birthday in a unique way at Satyabhama Devi College for Hearing Impaired here on September 16.
On this occasion, the poster and teaser of his film ‘RAJGURU’ were released. The film is based on the life story of Odisha’s first Martyr Jayee Rajguru. In this film, Chandan plays the eponymous character.
“Our aim is not only to give classic cinema to the people of Odisha but also to educate, entertain and create awareness about the life story of Jayee Rajguru among the present generation,” says Chandan.
The actor’s better half Geetanjali Kar says, “The film will definitely entertain people and at the same time will be remembered as a cult classic.”
The production house is yet to reveal other information like star cast.
