Bhubaneswar: 18th edition of State Level Theater Festival and Panchamveda Samman-2022 will begin at Biju Natyakendra auditorium of Satabdira Kalakar at VIP Colony in Bhubaneswar on Monday.
The inaugural play will be ‘Ishwara Ama Sapakshare’ by Panchadhwani Natya Parishad. On 2nd, 3rd, and 4th evenings, ‘Kanda Mastre’, ‘Bhinna Drushti’ and ‘Lajja’ will be presented by Mirror, Bidyakanak Srujanusthana and Shreekshetra Natyashala respectively.
This year’s Amiya Pattanayak Smruti Samman will be conferred upon Prof Samar Mudali for his contribution to the field of theatre, film and television world.
Similarly, Sitakanta Mohanty, Satya Ranjan Behera, Panchanan Dash, Lingaraj Nahak and Alhadini Kar will be felicitated with Panchamveda Samman-2022.
The four-day long festival will be observed with strict adherence to Vivid guidelines.
