Bhubaneswar: The fifth edition of Aradhana Nrutya Utsav, organised by Aradhana Nrutya Mandir, a Bhubaneswar based Odissi dance institution, will be held at Rabindra Mandap in Bhubaneswar on March 22.
After the pandemic, this is the first festival the institution is going to organise in a big way.
This year, the institution is going to felicitate some distinguished personalities for their immense contributions to the art world, particularly Odissi dance and music.
Among the personalities who are going to be honoured with Tribidya Samman are Guru Dhaneshwar Swain, Guru Bharat Charan Giri, Guru Karunakara Dash, Guru Sukanta Kumar Kundu and Gayak Amarendra Pattanayak.
The cultural evening will have some scintillating performances by over 100 junior and senior students of the institution.
Noted Odissi dancer Guru Ranjan Kumar Natha Sharma, a disciple of Guru Bharat Charan Giri, is the founder of Aradhana Nrutya Mandir.
Guru Ranjan Kumar Natha Sharma has been working relentlessly to promote Odissi dance and music in Odisha as well as in India and in overseas countries.
