Asim Basu Foundation hosts year-end literary meet “Pachishira Pachishi” in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: On the occasion of bidding farewell to the old year, the Asim Basu Foundation on Friday evening organized a literary gathering titled “Pachishira Pachishi” at Asim Da’s Khati in Bhubaneswar.

The literary meet was inaugurated by Ramhari Jena, eminent painter and president of the foundation; Asit Mohanty, noted columnist and advisor; Kapilas Bhuyan, national film award–winning film director; and poet Pabitra Mohan Kar.

The programme witnessed a gathering of twenty-five senior poets, writers, and artists along with ten young and emerging talents. The gathering resonated with recitations of poems and short stories, making it a vibrant confluence of creative minds.

Poetry recitations were presented by Surjya Mishra, Kedar Mishra, Akshaya Behera, Bharat Majhi, Amaresh Biswal, Ramakanta Samantaray, Ramakanta Gochhayat, Umakanta Rout, Shubhashree Shubhasmita Mishra, Bhaswati Basu, Suman Das, Debadutta Pati, Srotaswini Parida, Badal Mohanty, and Bharadwaj Mishra.

Poet Pabitra Mohan Kar conducted the session, while Debadutta Pati delivered the vote of thanks.
