Cuttack: It was a glittering evening when the stars of Odia movie ‘Kemiti E Samparka’ and guests including veteran actor Prashant Nanda recently turned up at a hotel in Cuttack for the film’s audio release programme.
Besides actor turned politician Nanda, the event was attended by former MLA Dr Prabhat Biswal, chairman of the Odisha Film Development Corporation (OFDC) Kuna Tripathi, film’s producer Rupesh Kumar Nayak, director Himanshu Parija, music director Abhijit Majumdar, actor Akash Dasnayak, actress Elina Samantaray and Lipsa Mishra.
It has six songs of different tastes including a devotional one and the singers who have rendered their voices are Swayam Padhi, Sohini Mishra, Bishnu Mohan Kabi, Antara Chakraborty, Mrunay, Satyajit Pradhan, Subhalaxmi Das and Basabadutta.
While Abhijit Majumdar is the music director of the movie, the songs are penned by Dr Nirmal Nayak.
The film, produced under the banner of JJNJ Production has a star cast of Akash and Elina as the lead pair, Pradyumna Lenka, Asit Pati, Jeevan Panda, Ushasi Mishra, Namita Das, Guddu, Santu, Milan, Sabita, Mamata, Gyana, Bhakti, Shiba Pujapanda and child artiste Latasha Khurana.
With this film, Rupesh Kumar Nayak is making his debut as a producer. He has also written the story of the film. The film is directed by Himanshu Parija (Chandi).
It’s dialogues are written by Chinmay Das Pattanayak, camera handled by Kanhu Nanda, editing by Rajesh Das, art direction by Nibarana Sarangi, choreography by Lubun Tubun and VFX done by Amar Das. Chittaranjan Acharya and Pranay Jethy are the chief arranger and creative head respectively.
The film has all the ingredients like love, relationship, suspense, thrills and above all heart-touching songs to attract cine lovers.
According to the sources close to the production house, the film will hit the silver screen in the second week of February.
