‘Bhinna Eka Rutu Sambhara’ captivates audience in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Shurvibration, one of the leading socio-cultural organizations in the state, hosted a unique evening ‘Bhinna Eka Rutu Sambhara’ celebrating of literature, nature, and culture at Rabindra Mandap on Monday.

The evening witnessed the presence of dignitaries like Minister of Housing & Urban Development Krushnachandra Mahapatra, BMC Mayor Sulochana Das, MLA Babu Singh, former minister Arun Kumar Sahoo, columnist Das Behnur, Supreme Court senior advocate Avani Kumar Sahoo, Mamata Samantaray, Jyotshnamayee Parida, and other eminent personalities of Odisha. The event was presided over by Phani Mohanty.

On this occasion, the guests unveiled Bhagyaleepi Malla’s poetry book “Rutu O Rati.” The book was published by Pakshighara, and a CD of the song “Paunji” from the anthology was also released.

The event also witnessed felicitation of social worker Purnachandra Behera of Khallikote. Tributes were also paid to the late playback singer Humane Sagar, poet Shankar Parida, and poet Rajendra Panda.

This beautiful concept based on the six seasons was set to music by Dr. Jayashree Dhal and Santanu Nayak. The audience at Rabindra Mandap swayed along to Jayashree Dhal’s soulful rendition of “Tame Kebe Asi Kebe Pherijao.”

The anchor of the evening was Dr Mrutyunjay Rath.
