Bhubaneswar: The Press Club here came alive with music and excitement as the audio of ‘Pashapali (Khela Raajniti Ra)’, Bikalananda Kar Production’s maiden movie was released in presence of all the cast and crew of the film.
Bikalananda Kar has been a household name synonymous with its spongy Rasgulla in Odisha and beyond. Now, it is stepping into the world of Ollywood with ‘Pashapal’, hoping to strike a right chord with the cine lovers.
The grand audio launch ceremony was held at the Press Club, Bhubaneswar, with former MLA and founder-chairman of The Sambad, Soumya Ranjan Patnaik, attending the event as the chief guest.
Among those present were producer Prashant Kumar Kar, director Sanjay Nayak, and prominent politician-turned-actress Srimayee Mishra, who plays a pivotal role in the film. Actors Poonam Mishra, Raj Rajesh, Kedar Mishra, Biranchi Nayak, Shubhranshu, Disco Reddy and Guddu also attended the event.
Director Sanjay Nayak and music director Malay Mishra have previously worked together and delivered several successful films, with many of their songs still striking a chord with audiences. Shubham is handling cinematography, while Pranay Jethi, Creative Head at Media Planner, is in charge of the film’s publicity and promotion.
Renowned singers including Rituraj Mohanty, Krishna Beura, Ira Mohanty and Chiragdeeb have lent their voices to the songs penned by Dr Nirmal Nayak.The film’s poster had been unveiled earlier, and the audio has now been released.
According to Bikalananda Kar Productions, the teaser and trailer will be released soon.
With politics being the crux of its storyline, ‘Pashapali (Khela Rajaniti Ra)’ has already generated considerable curiosity among moviegoers.
Director Sanjay Nayak has brought together an experienced and versatile ensemble to recreate his earlier magic. Talking about the music, Sanjay Nayak expressed confidence that the songs of ‘Pashapali (Khela Rajaniti Ra)’ will strike a chord with listeners and become major hits, much like the memorable soundtracks delivered by his earlier collaborations with music director Malay Mishra.
