Bhubaneswar: The 44th edition of Barsha Utsav, organised by Bhubaneswar based socio-cultural organisation Chinta O Chetana at Rabindra Mandap in Bhubaneswar, concluded on Thursday.
The concluding evening of the three-day long festival could not be more appropriate.
After the customary lighting the lamp ceremony, the cultural evening started. It was an evening of songs based on rain.
The first performer of the evening was Debasish Mohanty, who sang ‘Puni Sei Shrabana Re…’.
The following artistes were Sangeeta Panda, Dr Bijay Kumar Jena, Randip Palit, Bandish Palit, Jyotirmayee Nayak, Guru Laxmikant Palit and Guru Narayan Rath.
The emcee of the evening was Dr Mrutyunjay Rath.
