Bhubaneswar: The Odisha-zone auditions of the Global Crown 2026, a beauty pageant, will take place on September 26 at Sandys Tower Hotel in Bhubaneswar.
The beauty contest, organised jointly by Anonymous Films and K.F.T.I., promises to open the door to a host of opportunities for aspiring talents, including a chance to make their mark in the Odia film industry.
The announcement was made at a press conference in Bhubaneswar.
As part of the selection process, 50 contestants—25 in the Miss category and 25 in the Mistress category—will be shortlisted through auditions conducted at the global level. The selected contestants will take part in a six-day workshop in Kolkata from October 1 to 6.
Following the workshop, 30 contestants will be selected for the semi-finals. The grand finale will be held on October 8 at Tollygunge Club in Kolkata.

The organisers said the event is expected to provide a remarkable platform for Odisha’s emerging talents, providing them an opportunity to showcase their abilities on a larger stage and gain exposure at the national and international levels.
The event’s chief celebrity jury member will be Nayanika Chatterjee while the judging panel will feature prominent Bollywood celebrities, eminent personalities, fashion designers, filmmakers, producers and industry leaders.
The press conference was attended by Tapan Dash, head of Anish Entertainment, which is serving as the Odisha organising partner; Pranay Jethi, Managing Director of the media planner; Sachikanta Jena, producer of Moon TV Movies, which is supporting the competition; and Narayan Nayak, Director of Umamani Visuals Creation. Also present were Payel Mukherjee, founder of Anonymous Films, and Rubiya Banerjee, Director of K.F.T.I.
