Bhubaneswar: It was a tremendous response on the concluding day of the International Odissi Dance Festival organized by Guru Kelu Charan Mohapatra Odissi Research Centre under the aegis of Department of Odia Language, Literature and Culture.
Eminent dancers from across the Globe presenting their Odissi dance in Solo, Duet and Group format in this 5-day long Odissi Kumbh Mela.

The morning session started with the dance programme featured Surya Gurukul from Cuttack (Group), Nandita Priyadarshini Mohanty from Puri (Solo), Rekha Mohanty from Keonjhar (Solo), Kanhu Charan Pradhan & Ananya Sahu from Jeypore (Duet), Sangeeta Mansing Shingte, Mumbai (Solo), Dibyadarshinee Supakar from Bhubaneswar (Solo), Lavisha Gulati & Sheysha Singh, Uttar Pradesh (Duet), Mayurakshi Mitra from New Delhi (Solo), Esha Mukharjee, Siliguri (Solo) and Angika institution from Cuttack (Group) who presented some brilliant performances much to the appreciation of Odissi lovers.
The afternoon session started with the dance programme showcased Nrityabasa Prerana, West Bengal (Group), Kavita Mishra & Raju Mishra from West Bengal (Duet), Meghambari Pradhan from Bhubaneswar (Solo), Nikita Das & Soham Dey from West Bengal (Duet), Anna Matveeva from Russia (Solo), Bramhee Sarangi from Bhubaneswar (Solo) and Nrutya Upasana Pitha from Khordha (Group).

The evening programme started with the performance of renowned Odissi Dancer Guru Durga Charan Ranbir Senior disciple of Guru Deba Prasad Das & Guru Pankaj Charan Das, Swapnokalpa Anjan Dasgupta from Mumbai (Solo), Sushant Kumar Dash from Chattisgarh (Solo), Aishwarya Sanjay & Bhargavi Gajanan from Maharastra (Duet), Rojalin Sundaray, Bhubaneswar (Solo), Bhagyajyoti Priyadarshini from Angul (Solo), Natasha Karmakar & Debaprita Dutta from Uttar Pradesh (Duet), Molnar Zselyke, Hungary (Solo), Rashmi Rekha Das, Bhubaneswar (Solo) and Odissi Dance Creation from Bhubaneswar (Group).
The odissi dance lovers of the city thronged in a large number to this International Odissi Dance Festival.
The concluding evening of the festival was started with the auspicious lighting of the lamp by Dr. Niranjan Panda, All India Secretary, Sanskar Bharati; Shri Rabinarayan Rath, Renowned Sculptor and Anuja Tarini Mishra, Administrative Officer, GKCM Odissi Research Centre.
The programme was anchored by Dr. Mrutunjaya Rath.
