Bhubaneswar: The audio launch of ‘Ladhei’, presented by DRS Enterprises, was held in a vibrant celebration at hotel The Presidency in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday.
The film’s audio has been released under Amara Muzic.The film is scheduled to hit silver screen in Diwali.
The audio launch ceremony witnessed prominent guests lighting the ceremonial lamp, including noted industrialist Piyush Mohanty, producer Tutu Nayak, and distributor Prashant Behera. Producer Debashish Pattnaik, director Ashok Pati, dialogue writer Bharadwaj Panda, music directors Gaurav Anand and Somesh Satapathy, lead actor Lohitaksh, lead actress Abhilipsa, and playback singers Kuldeep Pattnaik, Antara Chakraborty, Asima Panda, Swayam Prabhas Padhi, and Sourav Bharadwaj jointly unveiled the audio CD.
The event was attended by the film’s entire cast and crew.
‘Ladhei’ marks the silver screen debut of newcomer Lohitaksh and actress Abhilipsa.
Produced by Lohitaksh’s father Debasish Pattnaik and directed by Ashok Pati, the film’s soundtrack is composed by youth-favourites Gaurav Anand-Somesh Satpathy. Lyrics, penned by Dr. Nirmal Nayak, Bapu Goswami, and J.P. Wordsmith, are brought to life by leading playback singers including Ananya Shritam Nanda, Antara Chakraborty, Aseema Panda, Kuldeep Pattanayak, Swayam Pravas Padhi, Sourabh Bharadwaj, alongside the music directors themselves. A rap segment by Addiction adds extra punch to the title track.
The film features four songs—a theme/title track, a romantic duet, a dance number, and an item song—covering a range of genres to captivate all listeners. Choreography is by Amit, ensuring eye-catching dance sequences.
The film is rooted in a strong, original, and unconventional storyline, with screenplay and dialogues by Bharadwaj Panda. Cinematography is handled by Kuldip. Supporting roles are played by Pritiranjan, KK, Bibhas, Udit Guru, Somesh, Madhu, Smita Choudhury, Manoj Dandapat, Rajlaxmi Dakuwa, Rabi Narayan Behera, Sushant, Rajlaxmi Mahapatra, and Ashok Pattnaik.
Public relations and marketing are overseen by Sambit Jena, with Haraprasad Mahapatra as publicity head and Abhijit Singh as media coordinator.
With its mix of powerful story, chart-topping music, and fresh talent, ‘Ladhei’ is all set to entertain cine lovers this festive season.
