New Delhi: The two-day-long Mamata Raut Dance Festival 2023, organised by Jayantika, a non-profit organization to promote art and culture, is all set to entertain art lovers on November 25 and 26 at Triveni Kala Sangam Chamber Theatre, Tansen Marg, New Delhi.
The Festival will witness unique compositions of eminent Gurus like Guru Jayalakshmi Eshwar, Guru Sapan Acharya, Guru Smt Seetha Nagajothy and Guru Sri P Nagajothy and Guru Madhumita Raut. It will also witness Bharatanatyam by Sudha Thamothiran, the guest artist from Malaysia.
Mamta Raut Dance Festival 2023 is an unique festival that celebrates the works of classical dance Gurus and their promising students. It showcases the talent of the upcoming dancers in the field of dance. It also highlights how the age old tradition is being passed on to the next generation.
The festival has been curated by Odissi exponent Madhumita Raut in loving memory of her mother(Late) Smt. Mamta Raut, wife of Padma Shri recipient Guru Mayadhar Raut, the doyen of Odissi dance. She had always been very supportive of young dancers.

Notably, Jayantika was founded in Cuttack Odisha in 1959 to codify and resurrect Odissi dance
