Music and trailer of Odia horror film ‘Mid Night’ unveiled in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: After ‘Bou Butu Bhuta’, the cine lovers are once again set for a spine-chilling ride as much-awaited horror movie ‘Mid Night’ gears up for its theatrical release on February 6.

The film’s music and trailer were released with much fanfare in Bhubaneswar on Friday, in the presence of the entire star cast and technicians, creating considerable buzz among film enthusiasts.

Presented by Manu Dwivedi Films, the movie is directed by Manu Dwivedi himself, who also plays the lead role.In the film, Manu Dwivedi appears in a dual role, portraying both a father and a son. His powerful performance in these two contrasting characters is expected to deliver a thrilling experience for the audience.

“With its eerie theme, strong performances, and gripping music, and all ingredients of a good film, ‘Mid Night’ promises to be a chilling cinematic experience for cine lovers,” said Manu Dwivedi.

The film features four songs, out of which the song “Mayabini Ei Andhara Rati…” has already gained significant popularity among viewers. “All the songs have been created to meet the demand of the storyline. Dr. Nirmal Nayak, Arun Mantri and Saroj Bal have penned them while singers like Asima Panda, Antara Chakraborty, Swayam Padhi and Satyajit have lent their voices,” informed music director Prashant Padhi.

The story of the film has been written by Anup Dwivedi, with dialogues penned by Dr. Rajani Ranjan. Apart from Manu Dwivedi, the film also stars Debu Brahma, Pratibha Panda, Akshay Bastia, Biren Mishra, Diana, Alia, Priya, Sasmita, and Sudhansubala in various roles. Suresh Das has served as the assistant director of the film.

Ajit Das has handled the cinematography, Chandrasekhar Mishra is in charge of editing, and choreography has been done by Bobby Islam. The film’s publicity is being managed by Haraprasad Mahapatra.
