Noted dance historian, critic and scholar Padma Shri Dr Sunil Kothari passed away at a Delhi based hospital on Sunday morning. He was 87.
He had tested positive for COVID-19 almost a month back and had since been unwell. He was recovering at his home in Asian Games Village in New Delhi. He had to be rushed to hospital as he suffered a cardiac arrest on Sunday morning.
Born on December 20, 1933, Kothari authored more than 20 books on Indian dance forms.
