Bhubaneswar: The upcoming Odia feature film ‘Pari’ is all set to grace silver screens across the state with its audio being officially unveiled at Press Club here on Monday, ahead of its theatrical premier scheduled for January 30.
The event was graced by producer Sanjay Mohanty, director Tripati Kumar Sahu, dialogue writer Dr. Rajani Ranjan, music director Japani Bhai, along with several members of the cast and crew, including actors Jyoti Ranjan Nayak and Anuradha Panigrahi, singers Antara Chakraborty and Ruku Suna, choreographer Amit Nayak, and other prominent contributors associated with the film.
‘Pari’ brings to the fore a deeply sensitive and socially relevant story against the backdrop of the alarming rise in sexual violence against children.
The film narrates Pari as an innocent, tender child—beloved by her parents and full of dreams—whose life is tragically shattered by heinous abuse. As the narrative unfolds, it exposes how money, power, social status, and politics often overpower the voices of grieving parents.
At its core, the film asks a haunting question: does justice ultimately prevail for Pari?

The story has been penned by Sanjay Mohanty, with Chandan Swain and Anil Baliarsingh serving as co-producers. Dialogues are written by Dr. Rajani Ranjan, while music is composed by Japani Bhai. Lyrics by Pramod Parida have been rendered by singers Tariq Aziz, Antara Chakraborty, Jyotirmayee Nayak, Ruku Suna, and Dr. Rohan Biswal.Cinematography is handled by Dhrubananda Panda (Litu), editing by Chandrasekhar Mishra, and choreography by S. K. Muralidharan and Amit Nayak.
The film is written and directed by Tripati Kumar Sahu. Publicity and promotion are overseen by creative head Pranaya Jethi.The film features a strong ensemble cast including Jyoti, Anuradha Panigrahi, Sritam Das, Nilamani Sahu, Pradyumna Lenka, Soumya Adhikari, Guddu, Jagannath Sahu, Naresh Rautray, Niranjan Acharya, Bishal, Papi Santuka, along with child artistes Dibyanshi and Sneha.
With all arrangements in place, ‘Pari’ is gearing up for a statewide release on January 30.
The makers have expressed confidence that the film’s powerful message and emotional depth will resonate with audiences and draw viewers to packed theatres across Odisha.
