Bhubaneswar: In good news for Odia cinema, RANGASHOOR, a film directed by Pratap Rout, is set to be screened at the prestigious 25th New York Indian Film Festival (NYIFF).
The screening is scheduled for Saturday, June 21 at 12:30 PM at Village East by Angelika in New York City.Expressing his heartfelt gratitude, director of the film, Pratap Rout shared his excitement, calling the selection “a dream come true” for him and the entire RANGASHOOR team.

“This honor not only validates our hard work and passion but also creates a vital window for Odia culture, especially our majestic and colorful Bagha Nacha (Tiger Dance), to reach a wider, appreciative audience,” he said.
Rout extended special thanks to producers Sachi Kant Jena and Prashant Behera for their constant support throughout the journey.
He also acknowledged the invaluable encouragement from Ambassador Binay Srikanta Pradhan, Consul General of India in New York, whose commitment to promoting Indian cinema and culture abroad was described as truly commendable.
