Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Film Producers’ Association (OFPA) convened its General Body Meeting on Sunday, during which the association’s elections were successfully conducted.
In the election held on December 21, 2025, Yugal Kishore Debata was elected as the President of the association, while Ajay Rautaray was chosen as the Vice-President. Ranjit Kumar Raut was elected as the Secretary, with Samaresh Rautaray taking charge as the Joint Secretary. Chittaranjan Mishra was elected as the Treasurer.
In addition, Ajay Kumar Mahanti, Pranaya Jethi, Ramesh Barik, Tapan Das, K. Tamana, Litu Mahanti, Kaushik Das, and Akshay Pradhan were elected as Executive Committee Members.
The election process was carried out in a smooth and transparent manner under the supervision of Braj Kishore Pradhan, Jubuli Sundaray, Chandan Tripathy, and Paresh Abhlani, who ensured that the polling remained fair and orderly.
The newly elected office-bearers are expected to work towards strengthening the Odia film industry and addressing key issues faced by film producers across the state.
