Bhubaneswar: The poster of “Ali Bajarangbali”, an upcoming Odia film jointly presented by Kalpana Films and Lev Live Odia, has been officially unveiled at a star-studded evening at Press Club here on Wednesday.
The event was attended by several distinguished guests, including social activist Meera Parida, literary personality Sanjay Bhatt, head of publicity and promotion Pranay Jethi, Lev Live Odia producer Dr. Titon Sahu, and managing director Debasmita Sahu.
Veteran filmmaker S. Dilip Panda has taken charge of the screenplay and direction of the film. “Ali Bajarangbali” is being jointly produced by Soham Singh of Kalpana Films and Dr. Titon Sahu of Lev Live.
The story has been penned by Soham Singh, while the dialogues are written by Bijay Rahul. The music is composed by Baidyanath Dash and J.N. Padma.
The poster launch also marked the announcement of the film’s principal cast. Soham Singh will portray Bajarangi, while Chandan Kar will play Ali. Sasmita has been cast as the female lead. The supporting cast includes Ushasi Mishra, Disco Reddy, Jiban Panda, Bhupati Tripathy, KP, Panchanan Panigrahi, and child artist Aradhya.
Dhiren will be handling the cinematography.
Soham Singh has previously produced and played lead roles in films such as “Ajatashatru”, “Love You Priya”, and “Rowdy Raja”, establishing his presence in the Odia film industry.
According to the production house, shooting for “Ali Bajarangbali” is scheduled to go on floors in December this year.
With an intriguing title, an experienced creative team, and an ensemble cast, the film is already generating excitement among Odia cinema enthusiasts.
