Bhubaneswar: The poster of the upcoming Odia film ‘Ei Bodhe Bhala Paiba’ was unveiled at a special event in Bhubaneswar on Saturday. Alongside, the film’s audio, teaser and trailer were also released simultaneously.
Produced under the banner of Skal Media Network and Entertainment Pvt Ltd, the film revolves around love, emotions and human experiences.
The event was graced by producers Alexander Das and Siddharth Patra, director Sudhakar Basant, dialogue writer Dr Rajani Ranjan, actors Deepak and Abhijit, actress Anubha, and poet, writer and storyteller Ranjan Kumar Das, a retired administrative officer.
Playback singers Antara Chakraborty, Jagriti Mishra, Amrita Nayak, Tilak Chakraborty, Shashank Shekhar and Kumar Dilip were also present. Cine-producer Sachhikanth Jena and Media Planner Creative Head Pranay Jethi also shared the dais.
All the members of the film’s team who attended the event were visibly elated and shared their excitement about the project.
After a gap of several years, popular choreographer Sudhakar Basant is making a comeback as a director with this new Odia film. Known for his contribution to the Odia film industry as a choreographer and dance master, Basant has returned to the director’s chair with ‘Ei Bodhe Bhala Paiba’, a story that explores love and the many emotions and experiences that come with it.
The film is scheduled to hit the big screen in September.
While Anubha is paired against Deepak, Abhijit is set to appear in a powerful character. Popular filmmaker and dance master Sudhakar Basant has handled the choreography, screenplay and direction. Ranjan Kumar Das has penned the story, while Dr Rajani Ranjan has handled the dialogue section.
The film’s music has been composed by the late Abhijit Majumdar. The lyrics have been written by Dr Nirmal Nayak and Ranjan Kumar Das. Ajit is the director of photography, while Rajesh Das has handled the editing. Media Planner’s Pranay Jethi is in charge of the film’s publicity and promotion.

According to the production house, ‘Ei Bodhe Bhala Paiba’ is slated for a theatrical release this September.
The film also marks the much-awaited return of Deepak and Anubha to the big screen after a considerable gap. Both actors, who have reportedly delivered performances in keeping with the demands of their respective characters, are optimistic about the film and hopeful that it will strike a chord with audiences.
