Bhubaneswar: Three-day-long Saptashajya Festival-2021 is all set to begin from December 24.
This year, while music director Padmashree awardee Prafulla Kar and actor Ashrumohan Mohanty will be honoured with Saptashajya Lifetime Achievement Award, Saptashajya Samman-2021 will be conferred upon noted Odissi dancer Padmashree awardee Priyambada Hejmadi.
The inaugural evening will witness performances by Dr Anusaya Nath, Dr Adyasha Das, Smt Rojalina Dash, Er Chittaranjan Acharya, Sikta Das and artistes from Sur Vibration group.
The second evening’s attractions will be Shantilata Chhotray, Sailabhama Mohapatra, Dr Jayashree Dhal, Bharat Charan Giri, Dr Manjushree Panda and the artistes of Sur Vibration group.
Dr Sangeeta Gosain, Susmita Das, Smt Chhanda Mishra, Dr Pitambar Biswal and Mamata Das will enthrall audience on the concluding evening.
Devanshi Dance Academy in Odisha’s Dhenkanal district organises the festival.
The festival will be streamed live on platforms like YouTube, Facebook and Instagram.
