Bhubaneswar: Famous Ollywood music director Prem Anand’s ghazal evening left the audience mesmerized at Rabindra Mandap on Sunday.
The evening titled as Prem Anand Ghazal Evening 2025, Kichhi Samaya Nei Asiba (Come with some time) witnessed some eminent singers presenting soul-stirring ghazals penned by Prem Anand.
The evening had actress Malabika Ray, Managing Director of Bharat masala Sushant Panda and TM Construction’s Tushar Nanda as guests who inaugurated the evening by lighting the auspicious lamp.
In the next few hours, the audience were transported to a different world of music.
The first performer of the evening was Sricharan who sang ‘Prathame Prathame Chithi Lekhibaku Adhika Samaya Lage’. Then Pragyan Hota came onto the stage to present ‘Tame Kanhi Mote Badalila Pari Laguchha’.
Nishad Kumar and Biswajit Mohapatra presented ‘Kichhi Loka Sathi Hoi Bata Chalibaku Katha Deithile’ and ‘E Mana Ku Ame Bujhei Deba’ respectively.The fourth singer of the evening was Diptirekha who presented ‘Emitibi Kan Bhala Pai Hue’.
While Sashanka Sekhar left the audience immersed in emotions with his song ‘Kichhi Samaya Nei Asibu’, Sanchita mesmerized the music lovers with ‘Samaya Ta Nei Asila’.
Humane Sagar, Samiksha Mishra and Sourav Bharadwaj performed ‘Aau Kaha Hata Dhari’, ‘Kahi Parilini Boli Sahi Jauchhi’ and ‘Jaha Ghatibara Thila Ghatita Gala’ respectively.
All the songs were written and directed by Prem Anand.The audience left the auditorium wanting more.
