Swapna Pati Foundation’s Herbal Holi returns with a grand eco-friendly bash

Bhubaneswar: As Holi fever begins to catch on, the 15th edition of Herbal Holi 2026 is all set to take centre stage in Bhubaneswar, championing a celebration that is as safe as it is spirited.

Staying true to its roots, the event continues to beat the drum for eco-friendly festivities and chemical-free colours.organised by the Swapna Pati Foundation in collaboration with Lavinswood International Private Limited, the celebration is going to be even more colourful, brighter and safer.

Prior to the event, a press conference regarding the celebration was held at the Kalinga Rail Museum. Among those present at the press meet were organiser Swapna Pati, actress Suryamayee Mahapatra, Priyanka, actor Subhasish Sharma, Odissi dance guru Gauri Shankar Das, producer Rajesh Mohanty, trustee Rakesh Mohanty, associate Satyajit Mohanty, comedian Dr. Rishi Pattnaik, choreographer Amit Nayak and media planner and creative head Pranaya Jethi.

Holi, a festival symbolising joy, devotion and unity, is deeply rooted in the spiritual traditions associated with Lord Krishna and the Jagannath culture. Inspired by these values, Herbal Holi focuses on celebrating responsibly. The initiative began in 2011 with the message, “Protect your skin from chemical colours.”

Over the years, the foundation has consistently encouraged people to avoid harmful synthetic colours that can cause skin allergies, eye irritation and environmental damage.Marking 15 successful years, the organisers are planning a grand celebration this year.

The event will be held on March 2, 2026, at the Exhibition Ground in Bhubaneswar from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Participants will celebrate Holi using herbal colours made from natural ingredients such as turmeric, sandalwood, multani mitti, neem and beetroot.The festival will also feature live performances by popular Bollywood and Ollywood artists including Shehzad Ali, Shabab Sabri, Eijaz Khan and Urfi Javed. DJ Ayush will add to the festive spirit with high-energy music performances.

Around 1,000 participants, along with several prominent industrialists and distinguished guests, are expected to attend the event.
