Bhubaneswar: The mahurat of Summa Real Media’s third venture ‘Wuhan Ru Odisha’ was held at SOA campus here on Wednesday.
Vice chancellor, SOA University, Prof. Ashok Mohapatra gave the mahurat clap. While Sunil Kumar Das is the producer of the film, Sanjay Nayak has been roped in as it’s director. Basant Raj Samal is the music director of the film.
The film’s story is based on some heart warming incidents reported during the COVID-19 pandemic time. The film will be so made as to make its way for national and international film festivals.
Worth mentioning, Summa Real Media’s first film ‘Feri Aa’ had won State Level Film Awards in eight categories.
So far, Lipika, Abhijit, Kuna Tripathy, Pradyumna Lenka, Guddu, Biju Badjena, Subhashree have been finalized for different roles. However, selection of actors and actresses for some characters is still underway.
Meanwhile, Summa Real Media’s second venture, Manaranjan Nayak’s ‘Mana Mo Neigalu Re’ starring Jyoti, Bhumika Das, Jeevan Panda, Bira Das, Amiya Mishra, Guddu, Biju Badjena, Pushpa Panda and Kuna Tripathy is all set to release soon.
