Bhubaneswar: The fourth edition of four-day-long state-level photo exhibition, organized to mark World Photography Day by Nutana Bhabishyata Nirmanara Sutradhara Trust, founded by senior photojournalist Laxmikanta Das, at Jayadev Bhawan here, concluded on Friday.
The valedictory evening witnessed dignitaries like BMC Mayor Sulochana Das, MLA Siddhant Mohapatra, disability rights activist and founder and chief executive of Dr Shruti Mohapatra, secretary of Odisha Centre, Maha Bodhi Society of India, Sourenddra Kumar Mohapatra, Historian Anil Dhir, journalist Pradyumna Satpathy, BJP leader Sajjan Sharma and Ravi Shankar of ‘Tamaran India’, who inaugurated the evening by lighting the auspicious lamp.
On this occasion, eminent personalities like Lom Prakash Sharma, Durga Samantaray, Ratnakar Sahu, S Rajiv Gourav, Biranchi Narayan Mahasupakar and Srinivas Ghatuary were awarded with ‘Nabin Sutradhar Pratibha Samman’.
Similarly, upcoming talents Balaram Khatua, Chandan Das, Pallakraj Pattanayak, Sujit Kumar Bisoi, Swastik Mohanty, Gourishankar Patra and Sabyasachi Jena were honoured with ‘Promising Photographer Award’.
This apart, three photos were adjudged as the best clicks and their creators were felicitated. They were Santosh Mahalik, Debadutta Malla and Sampashree Mund.

Worth mentioning, around 300 photographs across five distinct themes from 75 shutterbugs adorned the galley walls, making the exhibition a visual treat and a true celebration of the art of photography.
