Bhubaneswar: The trophy of 2nd Star Film Award was unveiled at a function held at Hotel Swosti Premium here in Bhubaneswar on Saturday.
At a time when the pandemic COVID-19 has not let any sector including film industry unaffected, the organisers of the award function said the festival will help boost the will power of all those who are related to Odia film industry one way or the other.
The organisers briefed the media that the festival will be held at Utkal Mandap here at 6:00pm on April 25. The festival will be observed following the COVID-19 guidelines.
Actors, actress and technicians belonging to film, television and music videos will be awarded, informed the organisers.
Festival committee’s chairman producer Ramesh Barik, president producer Lutu Mohanty, convenor producer Shreedhara Martha, secretary producer Rabindranath Panda and vice chairman producer Lokanath Dash were present at the event.
When asked about the objective of organising such a programme, chairman Barik said some cine producers have joined hands to promote the film industry and encourage all those who are associated with film industry.
